The Equipment Operator (Operations) supports water, wastewater, and utility operations by operating equipment and vehicles for field projects.
• Operate excavation, trenching, and lifting equipment.
• Assist with pipeline, water main, and wastewater system work.
• Perform daily inspections and maintenance of equipment.
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment to sites.
• Support crews in utility operations and emergency response.
• Reports to Operations Supervisor.
• Works with utility and operations crews.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of utility or field equipment operation.
• CDL license preferred.
• Knowledge of water/wastewater systems a plus.
• Frequent lifting up to 60 lbs and climbing.
• Prolonged equipment use in variable conditions.
• Outdoor utility and operations environments.
• Exposure to water, wastewater, and construction sites.
• Local travel for utility operations.
